Company Overview 

C Teleport is seeking a visionary and hands-on VP Finance to lead our finance function  into its next phase of growth. The VP Finance will be the most senior financial leader,  responsible for both strategic direction and operational excellence. This is a critical role  reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the executive team. 


Team Structure 

You’ll be leading an experienced finance team that includes a Netherlands-based  Financial Controller and two skilled remote accountants. They bring strong ownership  and domain expertise, and they’re eager to keep growing under thoughtful leadership.  Your role will include guiding and developing them into an even more cohesive, high performing team across locations.  


You will also collaborate with an experienced Product Owner and a dedicated IT team  who are actively working on automating financial operations.

Key Responsibilities 

Strategic Financial Leadership 

  • Own and execute the company’s comprehensive financial strategy, including  profitability targets, hiring budgets, and fundraising planning (debt and equity). - Lead strategic financial planning and analysis, ensuring reporting formats meet  international standards. 

  • Drive key financial decisions and provide actionable insights to the CEO, board, and  investors. 

  • Lead and support fundraising initiatives, including scenario modeling and due  diligence preparation. 


Financial Planning, Reporting & Controls 

  • Oversee company-wide budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning across all  departments. 

  • Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting (monthly, quarterly,  annual). 

  • Develop and implement transparent financial KPIs and metrics for both the finance  department and executive team. 

  • Own the implementation and optimization of reporting tools (e.g., Pigment, Power BI). - Define and improve internal control frameworks, including cash headroom, bad debt,  and audit deadlines. 

  • Ensure proper documentation and continuous improvement of financial processes. 

Operational Oversight 

  • Oversee cash flow, working capital, and liquidity management.

  • Supervise accounting operations, external audits, and compliance with tax and  regulatory requirements. 

  • Lead cost control initiatives and monitor unit economics across the business. - Ensure automation and efficiency improvements in all finance operations. - Maintain and improve all operational finance activities, including outgoing payments,  trade credit management, debtor chasing, and headroom planning. 


Cross-Functional & Team Leadership 

  • Collaborate closely with the CEO, SVP Product, CTO, VP Growth and VP Sales on  business priorities, hiring budgets, and cost control. 

  • Build and lead a high-performing finance team, setting a clear vision and driving  professional development. 

  • Foster a culture of transparency, excellence, and continuous improvement. - Support other departments in financial decision-making and compensation framework  development with HR. 


Investor Relations & Board Reporting 

  • Manage investor reporting, board updates, and due diligence materials. - Maintain strong relationships with investors and the executive team. 


Success Criteria 

  • Implementation of transparent financial reporting and KPIs. 

  • Improved cross-departmental collaboration and financial planning accuracy. - Strategic initiative completion rate. 

  • Process automation and efficiency improvements. 


Required Experience & Skills 

  • Proven experience as a senior finance leader (VP Finance, Finance Director, CFO or  similar) in a fast-paced, international environment. 

  • Demonstrated ability to lead both strategic and operational finance functions. - Strong track record in financial planning, reporting, and process improvement. - Experience with financial systems (e.g. financial cubes, Power BI, or similar) and  automation. 

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills. - High integrity, transparency, and a drive for continuous improvement.
