About the Position:
As a QA Manual Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products. You will work closely with our development team to identify and resolve issues, conduct comprehensive testing, and ensure that our software meets the highest standards of quality. You will have the opportunity to apply your expertise in manual testing methodologies, develop test cases, and execute test plans to validate the functionality, usability, and performance of our applications.
Note:
For this position we are seeking remote candidates within the GMT-1 to GMT+4 time zone range.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the development team to understand project requirements, design specifications, and user stories;
- Leverage Postman for API testing, validating the functionality and data integrity of web services;
- Utilize Swagger to understand API specifications and generate comprehensive test cases;
- Create and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements;
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and acceptance testing to identify defects and ensure software quality;
- Utilize Jira for effective issue tracking, bug reporting, and task management;
- Use TestRail to plan, organize, and track testing activities, ensuring complete test coverage;
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems, and collaborate with the development team to facilitate their resolution;
- Actively participate in test case reviews and provide feedback to improve test coverage and effectiveness;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software products.
Required Skills:
- Proficient in manual testing techniques, including functional, regression, integration, and acceptance testing;
- Proven experience as a QA Manual Engineer or similar role, with a strong understanding of software testing methodologies and processes;
- Proficiency in using Postman for API testing, validating web service functionality and data integrity;
- Knowledge of Swagger for understanding API specifications and generating comprehensive test cases;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail;
- Experience with Jira for issue tracking, bug reporting, and task management;
- Familiarity with TestRail for test planning, organization, and tracking;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams;
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment;
- Intermediate-level automation experience and a willingness to further explore opportunities in this field;
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
