As the Financial Controller at C Teleport, you will be instrumental in ensuring the financial health of our operations. This role requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of financial management, reporting, and tax compliance, along with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, hybrid work environment.
Our finance team comprises four dedicated professionals, all working under the leadership of the VP Finance. Two of our team members work remotely from our office in Latvia, showcasing our commitment to a global workforce and remote collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with Dutch accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare accurate financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support VP Finance to oversee statutory filings and liaise with regulatory authorities as necessary.
- Manage financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify risks and opportunities for optimization.
- Implement financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets.
- Prepare and file tax returns accurately and timely, and collaborate with tax advisors to optimize tax strategies and minimize liabilities.
- Streamline financial systems integration and consolidation processes.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data across multiple platforms.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
- Provide financial insights and guidance to VPs and managers in other departments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent qualification preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Financial Controller, previous experience in scale-up and/or SaaS companies is a bonus.
- Thorough understanding of Dutch accounting standards and taxation laws.
- High proficiency in English (office working language) is a must.
- High proficiency in financial systems and ERP software (we use Exact).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Hands-on mindset and keep-learning attitude.
- Available for 40 hours/week, and eligible to work in the Netherlands (we can sponsor KM visa)
- Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment, with previous experience in collaborating with remote teammates/stakeholders.
