As our HR & Workplace Experience Intern, you’ll play a key role in keeping our Rotterdam office running smoothly, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and supporting both day-to-day operations and HR administration.
Some activities you’ll take full ownership of — like events, office operations, asset inventory, and internal communications for your own or shared culture-related projects. In other areas, you’ll contribute by supporting and shadowing our HR Manager, giving you valuable exposure to how HR and compliance work in practice within a fast-paced, international tech company.
By the end of your internship, you’ll have:
Practical experience running office operations and internal events end-to-end.
Hands-on skills in asset management, absence tracking, and office improvements.
Insight into HR administration and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in the Netherlands and wider Europe.
Experience in culture-building and internal communications.
Confidence in taking an idea and turning it into results, even when things don’t go as planned.
How You’ll Be Supported
You won’t be doing this alone — throughout your internship, you’ll be coached and guided by our HR Manager. You’ll have someone to provide context, answer questions, and share knowledge on HR administration, compliance, and culture-building.
You’ll also shadow real HR processes and external communications, giving you a safe environment to observe, ask questions, and gradually take on more responsibility. At the same time, you’ll have the freedom to own specific projects (like events, office operations, asset inventory, and project-related communications) so you can put your ideas into action and see the results.
Who This Internship Is For
This internship is designed for final-year students who are ready to move from theory to practice. The role combines office operations, HR administration, and employee experience, which makes it especially relevant for students in HR, Facility Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or Communications.
Because of the mix of hands-on execution and shadowing opportunities, this internship is a great fit if you’re curious, resourceful, and preparing to take the step into professional life.
It can also be combined with your graduation project if the topic leads to a practical, company-ready deliverable in HR, employee experience, workplace/facility operations, internal communications, or workplace hospitality, and can be completed within 4–5 months at 3 days/week under HR Manager supervision with full confidentiality.
Out of scope (to keep expectations clear): purely theoretical studies without an implementable outcome, projects unrelated to HR/workplace (e.g., brand marketing), or topics needing unrestricted access to personal data (we use anonymised/aggregated data only).
