At C Teleport, we are revolutionizing corporate travel by combining automation, machine learning, and smart decision-making. As our Financial Controller, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our financial health and enabling scalable growth. You will join a highly collaborative team that values ownership, transparency, and continuous improvement.
Our finance team consists of four dedicated professionals, led by our VP Finance. Two of our team members (accountants) work remotely from Latvia, reflecting our strong culture of flexibility and cross-border collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Compliance
Ensure compliance with Dutch accounting standards and all relevant regulatory requirements.
Prepare timely and accurate financial statements and management reports for internal leadership, auditors, and external stakeholders.
Support the VP Finance on statutory filings and maintain strong communication with regulatory authorities and external auditors.
Financial Operations & Planning
Manage end-to-end financial operations including month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
Implement, maintain, and enhance internal financial controls and procedures.
Be responsible for preparations for annual audits
Taxation
Prepare and file accurate tax returns in compliance with Dutch tax laws.
Partner with tax advisors to optimize tax strategies and minimize liabilities.
Systems, Data & Process Optimization
Oversee financial systems integration, consolidation processes, and ERP improvements (we use Exact).
Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data across multiple systems and platforms.
Identify opportunities for automation and process streamlining in collaboration with a dedicated IT team
Business Partnering
Provide financial insights, scenario analyses, and data-driven recommendations to VPs and managers.
Act as a trusted advisor during our scale-up phase, supporting strategic and operational decision-making.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or equivalent qualification strongly preferred.
3–5 years of experience as a Financial Controller or similar role; experience in scale-ups, SaaS, or high-growth tech environments is a plus.
Strong knowledge of Dutch accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory compliance.
Excellent command of English (our main working language).
High proficiency with financial systems and ERP software (Exact experience preferred).
Strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving, and exceptional attention to detail.
Hands-on mindset and eagerness to continuously learn and adapt.
Available 40 hours per week and eligible to work in the Netherlands (we can sponsor a KM visa).
Comfortable working in a hybrid model, collaborating effectively with remote teammates.
